This site is an ongoing project to chronicle John McCain’s flip flops over the course of the campaign.  Current count: 74

It’s amazing that one candidate is preaching bi-partisanship and compromise, while another (who used to be considered flexible and even too moderate for the party) has gone back on just about everything he believes in just to clearly align himself with party views.

Sure, there is nothing inherently wrong with people changing their stances on certain issues, especially when new information points to a different conclusion.  This should even be encouraged in politics.  But 74 times! Those are not sincere reverals as much as changes that are calculated for political gain.
