My Year of the Road Trip (and other travelling) 2009
I slept at least one night in each of these places:

Cabos San Lucas, Mexico
Tel Aviv, Israel
Jerusalem, Israel
Golan Heights, Israel
Richmond, VA
Hampton, VA
 Los Angeles, CA*
Charlottesville, VA*
Boston, MA
Rochester, NY
Uniondale, NY
New York, NY*
Asheville, NC
Knoxville, NC
Manchester, TN
Nashville, TN
Bloomington, IN*
Pittsburgh, PA
Indianapolis, IN
Milwaukee, WI
Lincoln, NE
Denver, CO
Moab, UT
Las Vegas, NV
San Francisco, CA
Portland, OR
George, WA
Billings, MT
Cincinnati, OH
Lancaster, PA
Albany, NY
Portland, ME
Palm Springs, CA
* Denotes multiple non-contiguous visits.
In total, I’ve travelled a grand total of approx. 40,000 miles and spent over 10 weeks away from home.  I love travelling, and had a great opportunity to visit so many places I’ve never seen before, including so much of the U.S.  Over half of that has been driving miles.  I could do without driving anywhere for a few years, but it’s been a great year of travel!
Thanks to zachklein for the idea, and Matt for the photo and about 10,000 miles at the wheel.
